About SalesPhysics – History

The creation of SalesPhysics began more than a decade ago.  In 2006, Archie Kelly left a very successful 24-year career with one of the country’s largest financial institutions.  During his two years away from the day-to-day activities of work, he reconnected with some of his childhood dreams that led to the creation of The Value Equation (aka:  The Sales Value Equation, The Client Value Equation, The Customer Value Equation, and The Universal Value Equation).  While relaxing under a large crepe myrtle tree, Archie fell asleep reading a book about the life of Albert Einstein.  He awoke and thought, if Einstein could explain some of the mysteries of the universe using simple mathematical equations, he could do the same with business and sales.

To create the fundamental principle of all sales success, Archie studied the successes and failures of his career, as well as those of his colleagues. Ken Pate, a long-time friend and colleague, provided valuable feedback that led to the refining of the theory into its current form.  Over the next eleven years, Archie took leadership positions with two smaller financial firms.  He coached and led his teams to achieve outstanding results by significantly increasing sales productivity, revenue, and team morale.

In 2018, Archie discussed what he had created and the results he was seeing with several leaders from various backgrounds.  Those leaders agreed that his methodology could help companies and their people utilize the Value Equation coupled with a unique technology solution (patent pending) to achieve consistently outstanding results in sales and other areas.  This led to the formation of SalesPhysics, LLC in October of 2018.
